Tim Tebow--Class Act

Okay, so I admit it, I rolled my eyes when I heard the reactions to the fact that Focus on the Family was putting an pro-life ad on during the SuperBowl. I mean, you're telling me it's fine and dandy to show scantily clad big busted women hawking beer, but show a commercial that celebrates the decision to choose life, and suddenly civilization as we know it is coming to an end?

Please.

Then the commercial aired, and I gotta say it: What is wrong with people? This ad was gentle, humorous, and well made. So what on earth is the big deal? Seems to me the detractors need to get a life.

Oh, wait. That's what they're protesting. Life.

Silly me.

You can watch the ad here. And read a thought-provoking article, written from someone who disagrees with Tebow's stance but supports the ad, here.

And when you're done, go give your folks a big hug for supporting life.

Peace, all.

I know. My Lord. This simple ad drove the other side crazy? Now that's crazy.

We were expecting the whole story behind what was aired. We just looked at each other, mouths agape, and wondered at the ugliness at such ire over this simple ad. Sick. Not in a good way.
